For all tests using -O that were previously relying on a debug build and
the CURL_TESTDIR environment variable, use the plain --output-dir option
instead so that they can run proper in non-debug builds.
Closes#15114
Some feature names used in tests had minor differences compared to
the well-known ones from `curl -V`. This patch syncs them to make test
results easier to grok.
Closes#14183
To avoid URL tricks, use the URL parser for this.
This update changes curl's behavior slightly in that it will ignore the
possible query part from the URL and only use the file name from the
actual path from the URL. I consider it a bugfix.
"curl -O localhost/name?giveme-giveme" will now save the output in the
local file named 'name'

Closes#9684
missing CRs and modified %hostip
lib556/test556: use a real HTTP version to make test reuse more convenient
make sure the weekday in Date headers matches the date
test61: replace stray "^M" (5e 4d) at the end of a cookie with a '^M' (0d)
Gets the test working with external proxies like Privoxy again.
Closes#6463
A regression between 7.22.0 and 7.23.0 -- downloading a file with the
flags -O and -J results in the content being written to stdout if and
only if there was no Content-Disposition header in the http response. If
there is a C-D header with a filename attribute, the output is correctly
written.
