65aa275bbc KNOWN_BUGS: Update 11.9 - DoH option inheritance 
- Add description: Explain that some options aren't inherited because
  they are not relevant for the DoH SSL connections or may result in
  unexpected behavior.

- Remove the reference to #4578 (SSL verify options not inherited) since
  that was fixed by #6597 (separate DoH-specific options for verify).

- Explain that DoH-specific options (those created by #6597) are
  available: CURLOPT_DOH_SSL_VERIFYHOST, CURLOPT_DOH_SSL_VERIFYPEER and
  CURLOPT_DOH_SSL_VERIFYSTATUS.

- Add a reference to #6605 and explain that the user's debug function is
  not inherited because it would be unexpected to pass internal handles
  (ie DoH handles) to the user's callback.

test1541: remove since it is a known bug 
A shared connection cache is not thread-safe is a known issue. Stop
testing this until we believe this issue is addressed. Reduces
occasional test failures we don't care about.

The test code in lib1541.c is left in git to allow us to restore it when
we get to fix this.

The CMake option is now called CMAKE_USE_SCHANNEL

The winbuild flag is USE_SCHANNEL

The CI jobs and build scripts only use the new names and the new name
options

Tests now require 'Schannel' (when necessary)

KNOWN_BUGS: restore text regarding #2101. 
This was added earlier but appears to have been removed accidentally.

AFAICT this is very much still an issue.

I say "accidentally" because the text seems to have harmlessly snuck
into [1] (which makes no mention of it).  [1] was later reverted for
unspecified reasons in [2], presumably because the mentioned issue was
fixed or invalid.

progress: Track total times following redirects 
Update the progress timers `t_nslookup`, `t_connect`, `t_appconnect`,
`t_pretransfer`, and `t_starttransfer` to track the total times for
these activities when a redirect is followed. Previously, only the times
for the most recent request would be tracked.

Related changes:

  - Rename `Curl_pgrsResetTimesSizes` to `Curl_pgrsResetTransferSizes`
    now that the function only resets transfer sizes and no longer
    modifies any of the progress timers.

  - Add a bool to the `Progress` struct that is used to prevent
    double-counting `t_starttransfer` times.

Added test case 1399.

Fixes #522 and Known Bug 1.8

74595b223d http_proxy: simplify CONNECT response reading 
Since it now reads responses one byte a time, a loop could be removed
and it is no longer limited to get the whole response within 16K, it is
now instead only limited to 16K maximum header line lengths.

3533def3d5 http2: make sure stream errors don't needlessly close the connection 
With HTTP/2 each transfer is made in an indivial logical stream over the
connection, making most previous errors that caused the connection to get
forced-closed now instead just kill the stream and not the connection.

Fixes #941
